Dawnbearer Juno-Seto by rincs
So, I made fanart for this phone game I play, Brave Frontier. I had asked on a reddit thread on who to draw, but, well... let's just say that I apparently did a horrible job. I want to redeem myself, and so I'm making NEW fanart, and using this as practice for lighting. I'm drawing inspiration from Peter Mohrbacher's Angelarium series, and I really want to try to emulate that feel. It's not going to be easy, but that's half the fun right? ....right? @w@;;
Planning stage 1: You can see that the latter half gains more of the Angelarium feel (pose wise). I'm so undecided on her form on this stage, and I keep playing around, unsatisfied with what I have.
Planning stage 1: Still sketching out poses, the left one here copies the pose of "Tamiel - Angel of the Unseen". That's the main image I was drawing my inspiration from. I felt that I got too caught up in the image and started to rethink what I was going to do. The final image brings to front more of what I wanted to show, that this lady brings the dawn - not quite the ideal pose, but definitely getting there.
Planning stage 1: Finished it a little to somewhat closer to my vision, but I don't think I quite have it just yet...I can't seem to pinpoint what I want just yet. I probably need to think about it a bit more. I wanted her to kind of blend into the background? Or something like those images where the hair is the universe or something. Something like that. xD;; I might need to sketch a bit more.
